Join Us for a Special Workshop on Gender-Based Violence Data This Monday, March 10, we invite you to a special workshop at Data a la Lata, where we will explore how to collect and analyze data on gender-based violence in the spaces we navigate daily. Through a combination of methodological tools and analytical techniques, we will learn how to transform testimonies into structured data that help make this issue visible and contribute to raising awareness. During the workshop, you will discover various methodologies and data visualization tools, such as collaborative mapping, word clouds, social cartography, and other innovative representation techniques. These approaches will allow us to collectively analyze experiences of gender-based violence and harassment in public spaces, turning them into valuable insights for understanding and addressing this reality. Additionally, we will compare individual and collective perceptions of street harassment with concrete data, exploring existing information sources and reflecting on how data can help us better grasp the magnitude of the problem.
